We exist to Treasure Christ Together.

We exist to do what God has done for eternity...treasure His Son.

Jordan Thomas and Sean Cordell (executive director) discuss the TCT network.

Our Mission

We are a theologically like-minded, gospel-formed family of churches, joyfully serving pastors and their wives and supporting churches to start and (re)start new Christ-treasuring churches

Theologically Like-MindeD

We believe that the cause of unity in the church is best served, not by finding the lowest common denominator of doctrine, around which all can gather, but by elevating the value of truth, stating our doctrinal parameters, seeking the unity that comes from the truth, and then demonstrating to the world how Christians can love each other across boundaries rather than by removing boundaries. In this way, the importance of truth is served by the existence of doctrinal borders, and unity is served by the way we love others across those borders.

Our theological like-mindedness can be seen in our TCT Affirmation of Faith and in the Nashville Statement.

Gospel-Formed

As God shapes His church to have a gospel-formed culture, we desire for TCT churches to display the aroma of Romans chapter 12.

FAMILY OF CHURCHES

We are a family of Christ-treasuring churches characterized by…

Christ-saturated preaching: Our churches preach the Bible expositionally so that Jesus is seen, trusted, and treasured by the preacher and the hearer.

Grace-shaped pastoring:  Our churches are led by a plurality of God-fearing male pastors who shepherd God’s flock in the rest that was accomplished for us by applying the gospel of Jesus to our souls.

Gospel-centered church life: Our churches regularly gather as one body of Christ-treasuring people who agree together to be and make disciples who proclaim the gospel, portray the gospel and protect the gospel.

Faith-filled prayer:  Our churches fervently devote ourselves to Spirit-empowered prayer, believing that as we express our dependence upon the Lord, He graciously unfolds His eternal plans through the prayers of His people.

Biblically-grounded compassion: Our churches move towards the marginalized and vulnerable in word and deed in order that we all extend and experience the justice, mercy, and soul-satisfying beauty of Jesus.

Kingdom-minded witness:  Our churches individually and collectively give ourselves to spreading our delight in Christ’s glory by sharing the gospel, revitalizing and planting churches that reach every nation and neighborhood.
